LONDON CONFERENCE .MEETINGS OV COMMITTEES

LONDON, July 17
An official communique in reference to the Inter-Allied Conference says work was continued to-day by the committees. The first committee met at the Foreign Office under the chairmanship of Snowden. The, third sat under the chairmanship of Sir Robert Ivinclerslej. The second committee sits tomorrow under the chairmanship of Mr Thomas.
The Government gave a dinner to the conference delegates, Mr .MacDonald presided. The company included the High Commissioners for Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, the Irish Free State, and India.
DOMINIONS’ REPRESENTATION
LONDON, July 17
Although the form in which' ihe various dominions will be represented at the Allied Conference is not yet determined the probability is that if the Empire is represented by three delegates one of them will attend as representing tho Dominions, but. not necessarily the same person on each occasion. Mr Thomas attended yesterday’s sitting in view of the fact that the question of direct dominions’ representation was then pending. 1 OTTAWA. July 17.
Senator Belcourt will attend the In-ter-Allied Conference as a member of the British Empire delegation.
