FIRE AT TIMARU

TIMARU, This Day
A fire at 3.15 this morning completely gutterl the Marist Brothers ’School. The flames had a, good hold when the outbreak -was discovered, and the, brigade’s efforts could not prevent the destruction of the place. Only tire four brick walls aro now standing. The building was a very old one, and had been used as a school for many years. It was insured- Tho origin of the outbreak is unknown. This is the second school fire hero this month.
