A special meeting of the Rugby Union was held at noon, and it was decided to despatch a delegation to wait on two ot the leading \ players, it being thought that if they 4 could .be. won over, the bulk of the opposition would disappear. e A meeting of the .Management commit-, c tee was held in committee last evening, | " and on resuming in open meeting it was! reported that the players had signified their intention to play and 'that it. had j y been resolved to return to the writers j their letters of resignation.
