Air G. A. Lee, Consulting Engineer, arrived in Nelson this morning, and went on to Onnkaka in connection with the building of the wharf for the Onakaka Iron and Steel Company, Ltd. Very sincere svmpathy will lie extended to Air M. P. 'Webster in the bereavement he has suffered by death ol liis wile, which occurred on \\ ednosclay. The late Airs Webster (who was a daughter of the late Air .James Henry, who was in business as a builder in the early days), had not. enjoyed the best ot heailh for some time past, and was taken seriously ill on -Monday afternoon. The funeral was field this morning., I here being « verv large attemlanee, including representatives ot the Nelson Jockey' and Trolling Clubs, and wholesale and retail firms. Among a number of beautiful floral tributes were wreaths from the Kelson Jockey and Trotting Clubs and the Master Grocers’ Association. Rev. A! c.Af listers conducted the service at the graveside. A Christchurch Press Association gram states that Air Charles 11. Cio.cton, former manager of the South .British Insurance Go. at Christchurch and lately a director, died this morning after a long illness. '
