DROWNED IN A LAGOON

(United Press Association). . CARTERTON, March 27. A young man, aged 18 years, named Roy Smith, employed by R. T. Parsous, Tawaha, was drowned in the lagoon on Sunday. He went out with t.vi. companions. Returning, the companions landed, and Smith pushed out. A little later a cry was heard, and the lad's companions, returning hurriedly, saw only the upturned boat The body has not yet been recovered.
