PERSONAL ITEMS

Mr J. A. Stewart, branch manager of the industrial department of the A.M.P. Society, Wellington, is at present on a visit to Nelson. \

The funeral of the late Mrs C'order, of Wakapuaka, place at the Wakapuaka Cemetery this morning. A large number of settlers of the district, as well as several Nelson residents, attended to pay a mark of last respect to deceased’s memory. Among ' those present were Cr. P. Best (chairman), S Blemfield (secretai’v), and J./E. Menzics (engineer), of the Waimea County Council, of which Mr John Corder is a member. The service at the graveside was conducted by Rev. Mr Heron.
