WEDDING

REVELL—DE CASTRO At the Church of the Nativity, Blenheim, on March 23, by the Veil. Archdeacon York, the marriage took place of Geoffrey Adrian Revolt, only son of Mr and Mrs Revell, of Hawksliaw Street, to Margaret Helen, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs W. W. ...de Castro of Monro Street. Many friends of the bride and bridegroom were at the Church porch waiting the arrival of the bride. She wore ivory souple satin over old ivory lace. A narrow train was held in place and finished with sprays of orango blossom. The veil was worn cap fashion —sprays of orange blossom forming a circlet wreath round the head. The bridesmaids were Miss Dorothy and Valerio Revell, sisters of the bridegroom and Jean Grace, eldest daughter of Mr M. Grace. The chief bridesmaid, Miss D. Revell, wore soft apricot satin with girdle finished with rosette of brown and turquoise blue georgette. Her veil was of old ivory tulle, finished with wreath of gold leaves. The two young bridesmaids wore cream spotted net over silk, with girdle of turquoise blue and silver, and their veils were caught with wreaths of silver and turquoise blue rosettes. Mr Keith de Castro was l est man. A reception was afterwards held at Monro Street. Among, the guests were Mrs H. Dencker (Dunedin), aunt of the bride, and Mrs Black (Scatoun). The future home of the newlymarried couple will he iu Greymouth.
