Coney Park, will open at-2 p.m. tomorrow for the Christmas holidays. Various improvements have been made to the amusement devices. A subway lias been excavated to provide a gateway to and from the Park while the train is running. The.merry-go-round will bo in fnl 1 swing with its new revolving top. The Park will he open again in the evening. A patient at the Waipukurau Hospital who escaped on Tuesday evening last week from the instition again distinguished himself on Thursday night by disappearing wit hliis blankets about 9 o’clock. Despite an energetic search, he was not found until 4 a.m., when the searchers found him asleep in his hlanket£j. . The patient underwent a serious operation only last Monday.
