CHILDERS CASE (By Kloctnc 'ielegniph. -Copyright.) (Australian iv. N.Z. Cable Association ) LONDON, Nov. 20. A desperate legal battle, is in progress to save Childers’s life. Messrs Lynch, Comyn, and Maguire, Iris three counsel motored to tire Master of the Rolls directly the trial was concluded and applied for conditional orders. The Master of the Rolls gave liberty for an application before himself on Tuesday. The Adjutant-General was ordered to produce tiie bodies of Childers and eight other men. The barristers later motored to the offices of the Provisional Government and tried to telephone Mr Cosgravc, who would not interview them. The barristers then served documents upon minor officials IRISH IN BRITAIN LONDON, Nov. 21. Mr T. P. O’Connor, addressing a Catholic meeting in London, ridiculed the statement that an Irish party was now unnecessary in England. The Irish in Britain had made less advance than the Irish in any other country. Now their land was emancipated it was the sacred dirty of all Irish in Britain to become strongly organised in order to uplift the poorer section of Irishmen.
