There was great excitement at* Doom on the arrival from Berlin of a dozen heavy trunks supposed to contain the exKaiser’s Court uniform, and probably a crown for the new so-called “Queen of Prussia.” The arrival of the baggage revived rumours that the wedding will be followed by a private coronation at which the Prussian royal title will be conferred on Hermine in the presence of a few selected members of the old Imperial Court .
