SEIZURE OF LIQUOR
on American steam eh from SMYRNA (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Australian & N.Z. Cable Association.) NEW'YORK, Oct. 10. Fifty bottles of .whisky were seized aboard the United States Shipping Board freighter Winona, which arrived from Smyrna with refugees. This is the first seizure under the new law. The captain denied knowledge of the liquor and said it must belong to the refugees.
