AN ECHO OF THE WAR
(By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Australian ami N.Z. Cable Association.) BRUSSELS, June 16 A lock-keeper named Cogghe, who flooded the Yser during the German war advance, died aged 74. He had been lock-keeping till the last. He was recently decorated and received a State pension in recognition of his gallantry.
