AUSTRALIAN LABOUR PARTY
CONFERENCE CONTROL OF MEMBERS* (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) .Australian & N.Z. Cable Association' SYDNEY, This Day. The Labour Conference requested members of the party in Parliament to attend and explain why Parliament adjourned for such a lengthy period. Each member of the party is to be asked clearly to give the reasons for falling in with the decision of the Government.
It is stated that unless good reasons are advanced ,there will be a big alteration in the endorsement of- candidates at next elections'.
SYDNEY, This Day. The Labour Conference resolved, pledging itself individually and collectively, to refuse to participate in any war outside the'Commonwealth.
