WEDDING
The wedding was solemnised at All Saints’ Church on November 3rd of Marvin, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. A. McKenzie. Russell-street, to by, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs G. H, Johnson Halifax-street. The Rev. ErwgKowe officiated. The bride, who wan given away by her father, was attired, m ivory crepe-de-chene, trimmed, with pearls, and wore the usual veal and orange blossoms, and carried a beautiful bouquet of white flowers. • Miss Irene Byrne, cousin of the bride, attended as bridesmaid, and wore a cream charmeuse frock, with leghorn list trimmed with pink, and earned a bouquet of pink roses. Mr, Norman carried out the duties of best man After the ceremony about 60 guests were entertained by the bride’s parents at the Haeremai Tea Rooms. The happy couple left by boat in the evening, the bnde wearing a navy blu© costume.
