Three Daunevirke milk vendors appeared before the Magistrate charged •with offering for sale milk containing a greater percentage of water than a ilmvej by cutions it was shown that water got into the milk through no fault of the vendors, and linos ox £6 and costs were indicted. In the case of F. Studer, defendant pleaded that he had been forced huo the farm fie occupied against- his wil! } au { | could not make it pay without indulging in watering. He w ;i-s lined £25 for adulterating milk, and £5 for selling the same.
