MR WATT’S RESIGNATION
- ACTION CONDEMNED BY AIR HUGHES (Bv Electric Telegraph— Copyright) (Australian & N.Z. Cable Association) SYDNEY, June 15. Air .Hughes states that Mr Watt’s resignation is unjustifiable and places the Government in tan embarrassing position as it is impossible to end another minister to London in time to replace him. Air Hughes charges Mr Watt with abandoning Australia and reaffirms the that the resignation in the press bdfore he received it. (Ree. June 16, 10.10 a.m.) LONDON, June 15.
The city is surprised at the report that the Government has accepted Air Watt's resignation.
