Results: First Hack Hurdles: Explorer 1, Duke 2, Chummy 3. Scratched: Lepanto, Zeland. Won by threequarters of a length ; half a length between second and third horses ; time 3.18 4-5. St. Leger Stakes: Amythas 1, Nightraider 2,’ Rebuff 3. Won by three lengths ; a head between the becond and third horses; time 3.5. Plunket Nursery Handicap : Pacific 1, La Paix 2, Wake 3.Scratched: Cirysostnra, Caricature, Blackmail Rouen ; time 1.1 1-5.
