SCHOOLS COMMITTEES ASSOCIATION
NELSON BRANCH FORMED A meeting of Nelson District Schools Committees was hejd at the Education Board looms on Saturday evening for the purpose of discussing the advisable of forming a Nelson District' Schools Committees’ Association. Mr E. E. Boyes (Ohairmkn of the Town Schools Committee) waa voted to the chair, and the following delegates were present:—Nelson Town Schools, Messrs E. E. Boyes, Easdale, Wood, StndngCjr, Treacher ajnd Mrs Graham; Richmond, Messrs Oroucher, Gifford and Jellyman; Stoke, _ Messrs Hart and Ching; Waimea West, Mr Palmer; Brightwater, Mr Duncan.; Waa-iti, Mr Eves; Foxhill, Mr Browr nie ; Wakefield, Mr Wilkins.
The chairman explained th® object of the meeting and the advantages to be gained by forming an association. , After discussion, it was unanimously resolved that an association be formed and that each affiliated oommtitee send two delegates to the first meetinv of hte association to be hold next month. * Mr R.
