BOLSHEVIK INFLUENCES IN AMERICA

A series of bomb explosions are reported .hi Washington, Boston, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Pittsburg, Paterson, New York; and Newtouville, Massachusetts. The outrages are attributed to Bolshevist influences. Most of the attempts were made at the residences of Government or municipal officials. One bomb thrown at the front of United States Attorney-General Palmer’s home blew in the front of the j house. Mr Palmer and his wife and family were at home when the explosion occurred, and all escaped injury. Borne bystanders were killed.
