AUSTRALIAN SUGAR INDUSTRY.
(Australian & N.Z. Cable Association) MELBOURNE, March 27. : The Commonwealth Government is appointing a local Commission to inquire into the sugar industry in Australia, in view of the world shortage and the high price of production. The Commission will also consider the question of the continuation of Government control of the industry.
