PROTEST AGAINST UNAUTHORISED STRIKES. (Australian and N.Z, Cable Association) (Rec. Feb, 6, 11.35 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 4. The Amalgamated Society of Engineers has issued a spirited protest against unauthorised strikes and urged unionist to ignore the invitation to strike on Thursday. Yarrow and Company Jhave decided gradually to diminish the output of taeir ship-building-yards "on the Clyde, simultaneously! increasing the output at similar works at Vancouver, partially owing to constant labour disturbances.
