Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their monthly stock sale at .Murchison on 15lh inst., when they offered a large yarding of both sheep and cattle. At the start of the sheep sale the bidding was slack, but livened up later. The,cattle all sold well. Quotations : Sheep.—Cul 2-tooth wethers, 20s 3d to 20s 6d; small, 225; good, 24s 6d, 24s 9d to 25s 9d; 2-tooth ewes, 26s 3d to 26s 9d; fat ewes, 28s; fat wethers, 28« 6d>; forward aged ewes, 20s; S.M. ewes, 25s 6d to 26s 9d. Cattle.—ls-month steers, coloured, £4 12s '6d to £4 17s 6d(; 18 months steers, £5 2s 6d it £5 10s ; good, £7 ss ; 18months heifers, £5 5b to £5 10s; empty cows and heifers, £6, £6 2s 6d, £6 10s; empty cowe, forward and fat, £6 15*. £7 15s, £8 ss, £8 10s, £8 15s, £9. £9 10s; 2-year bullock, £9 4s; 3 and 4-year bullocks, £9 ss, £ll, £ll 16s, to £l2 15s.
