C2 RESERVISTS.

A LIST TO' BE PUBLISHED.

One of of th« Defence Commission was that a list of. the reservists who have been classed C2 (unfit for any service whatever) should be published for general information. A list of the First Division men in theso classifications its now being prepared, and will bo published shortly. It is likely to appear in sections, and will deal first with the men drawn in the early ballots. A complete list cannot be prepared -until the -G2 (Reexamination Board has finished'' its work, ' and this Board is expected to undertake a fourth itinerary shortly. ' The chief value of this list will,be in putting an end to many rumours regarding the position of certain reserv. ists. The complete roll of th© Expv ' ditiomary Force Reserve has been pub-, lishel already, and may bo consulted at any Post Office. -When it is , reported , that a certain man has evaded ■'• enrol- ' I ment or classified himself wrongly,' the people who aire interested consult the list and) see the fact..for 'themselves. The list of the men called for by ballot is also public property.- The C2 and D list will contain the names of the men who have been rejected i bythe medical boards. The lißts of. the men entering camp are published, and the' proceedings of the military service boards are public, so that every; man's military status will be on. 'record in some form or another for general information.
