PRESENTATION - *<CEBEMON Y.
A very -pleasimj ceremony took place at the Home Mission, Festival recently held in the Foresters' Hall, Wakapuaka, bv the (Suburban North parishioners, When Messrs E. FT Boyes, W. Thompson, and W. York were each presented with a Morris chair. The above-men-tioned have filled the position of layreaders throughout the district for a, number of years', and during the months the district was without a vi'car they were called upon to do extra work which entailed 1 a considerable sacrifice. Although they are all busy men throughout the week they cheerfully devoted their (Sundays to the religious wants of the district, and it wag the unanimous opinion of the parishioners that their good offices should l not pass unheeded. It was this object that Messrs Boyes. Thompson and York were called upon to accept a Morris chair each,' together with the fullest' and warmest appreciation of the parishioners generally. The recipients in returning thanks expressed themselves pleasantly .surprised* at the presentation, which was-.much apprdated by them. -It gave them great pleasure to perform these services which they looked upon as a labour of love, and it was deeply gratifying to know their efforts were- so thoroughly appreciated.
