PADDY'S MARKET

PREPARATIONS AT THE DRILL HALL.

The Drill Hall and annexe were to-dav scenes of bustle and -excitement. Scores of workers were busy putting up and decoratine stalls, hanging flags, and performing a hundred and one things in preparation for Paddy's Market, which opens to-night. Even by daylight the general effect is splendid l , and at nighttime, with brilliant lighting, this will be still further enhanced. No previous function of the sort has been on so gigantic a scale ,and never before has there been seen such effective decorative work. Unique and beautiful floral and colour designs have been introduced, making a charming display. Articles for the respective stalls have poured in from far and near, in endless variety, and- trade should be extremely busy throughout the Market days.
