HOSPITAL AND CHARITABLE AID BOARD
MONTHLY MEETINGThe monthly meeting of the Nelson Hospital and Charitable Aid Board was held to-day. Present: Messrs H. Baigent (chairman), E. S. Hoult, W. Lock, W. N. Franklyn, G. Macmahon, O. H. Allan, T. Bell, Mrs Wr.-tson. Accounts were passed for payment as follows:—Hospital. £449 0s 2d; charitable aid, £315 9s 2d. Mr R. Win waited on the Board regarding the establishment of a maternity •homo at Murchison. A res'dent had started a homo but did not. think she could keep it going without- a subsidy from the Board.—lt was resolved o?i Mr Bell's motion to consult the Murchison Medical Association 011 the question. (Left sitting.)
