RED CROSS FUND
GIFT'AUCTION. The gift auction in aid of the funds: of the Red-Cross Society will be held at the Temperance Hall this evening. A,-large and varied assortment of useful and ornamental .articles, musical instruments* vegetables, jam, etc., will be offered, and an opportunity will thus be afforded- the public of, at the same time helping the hind, and to obtain something useful in return. . , ~ . A fat sheep has been given by Messrs Hunt Bros., Belgrove, for the auction, and two lambs by Willie Hunt. Golf clubs, etc., have also been sent along..
