ANNUAB MEETING. I The.annual meeting o£ shareholders in connection with the Nelson Terminating Building Society was held las teyenimj. Mr J. Shields/ chairman of directors, presided. Tlie directors in;their report _ stated : "Your directors have pleasure 'in submitting the eleventh annual report and balance-sheet for the year, which, with 'the balance, viz., £389 14s 4d, brought forward from last year, shows a credit iti profit and loss account of £420 15s 4d.. During the year six appropriations have been made, five by ballot and one by tender, absorbing £I9OO. There is still £3OO held over from 1913 availale by tender, and the first application received for same, ai the minimum price of £lO per cent., will be accepted. Kerr, a vote of thanks was accorded the directors, and- a ••similar compliment was paid to the chairman and the Press. '
