KHEDIVE GOES OVER TO GERMANY
COMMENTS BY EARL CROMER, I (Rec. Dec. 16, 8.35 a.m.) LONDON. Dec. 15. Earl Cromer, in a letter, says that if, as appears, the Khedive has unwisely thrown in his lot •with the-Germans, it will have no great political importance, as his personal influence in Egypt is slight. He must cease to be the ruler of Egypt,_whch must irrevocably be relieved of the mortmain of Turkish sovereignty.
MOSLEM UNREST IN ASIA MINOR.

Rome papers exhibit growing alarm at the Mussulman ura-est in Asia Minor, and suggests that the Government should take immediate steps to repatriate 50,000 Italians domiciled in Asiatic Turkey.
PERSIA'S DECISION.

The Young Turks are thundei-struck at Persia's decision to remain neutral: They had counted on the Shah's support to distract the British, and facilitate Turkish attacks oh Egypt.

LONDON, Dec. 14.
A British officer at Khartoum states that the proclamation, of the -war passed in a simply ■wonderful manner. Without execution, there could be no suspicion of the absolute loyalty of the Arab Sheikhs and the Egyptian officers.
