MASONIC INSTALLATION
VICTORY LODGE; NO. 40
The installation of Bro. Edwiit \Y. Rudman, W.M.-elect of Lodge Victory. No. 40, was held at the Masonic Hall, t'ollingwood-street, last evening in the presence of a large attendance of the fraternity, which included members of sister lodges; RAW Bro. W: E. Redman. Prow Grand Master, was the Installing Master, and Wor. Bro. H. H. Johnston acted as Director of Ceremonies. Other ipast masters who assisted in the ceremony were RAW Pro. L. G. Boor and Wor. Pros. ./. A. Oisman. T. Fasteott. .1. Bartlett. R. W. Stiles. H. J. Harris, and W. S. Lucas. Au orchestra, consisting of Bros. N. R. Williams (organi#tJ. A. G. Thompson (violin). W. 'l'. Pruiidell (clarionet), l'\ d. Lock (cornet), and H. Cheek ('cello), rendered valuable service in the musical portion of the ceremony. The following officers wore duly invested: —1.P.M.. Pro. .1. Stephenson ; .T.D., Bro. W. Widdowson ; D. and Wor. Pro. H. H. Johnston ; organist. Pro.. A. G. Thompson; 1.G.. Pro. M'. Whelan ; senior steward. Bro. L. Reynolds; junior steward. Bro. F. -T. Lock'; tylcr,'Pro. >C. W. Moore. During the evening a solo was rendered •bv Bro. I). H. Wilmot. At the conclusion of the ceremony tin; brethren assembled in the refectory, where a pleasant 'time was spent in harmony.
