' MEN'S MEETING CALLED

SYDNEY, March 5.

A mass meetintr of ironworkers' assistants has been called for to-morrow afternoon. Otherwise there have been no fresh developments in the strike.

ARBITRATION ACT. RAILWAY AND TRAMWAY UNION APPLIES FOR RE-REGISTRATION. SYDNEY, March 5. Mr Justice Heydon granted the application of the Amalgamated Railway and Tramway Service Association for reregistration as an industrial union under the Arbitration Act. The Association's former registration was cancelled in 1912.
