' MAIL" OFFICE. The Builders' team placed another wi-n, to their credit on the Maitai green last night by defeating the "Mail" Office team, after an exciting finish, by 14 to 12. The "Mail" team scored on the fixst nine heads, and the board read 9—o. The Builders, however, who had up till then been unable to do anything against the exhibition of skill and science by their opponents, got their spirit level to work. Thereafter their play was on a high "plane," and shavings were piled' up fast, until at the 16th head the scores were level. Another head was played to decide the match, and after breathless 6uspense the "chips and sawdust" representatives won a deserved victory. The winners will next play a team representing the Dee family.
