PRICES REALISED. " :T ' ! DUNLDIN, This Day. The third' and final- -Dunedin wool sales' were held this morning. There were brought forward over 7000 bales, -a marked decrease, -compared with the corresponding-sale of last year, when close on 12,000 bales were submitted. The reduction ifi : entirely due to the goc3- weather early In the season causing ' graziers ; to rush, the wool in to catch the then high prices.. The. bulk of the wool was'.Merino from the back- coun-,-Iv.Wch /arrived in excellent condition. -Though local buyers had filled ..requirements the demand was exceptionally keen, especially by Bradford representatives and speculators. The top price for half-bred was 132<1, o-Gained iby David Ross of Stoneburn, .who .also secured 13d a lb for 25 bales of the same clip.. For crossbred and' Merinos and all kind's- of pieces 'prices were .exceptionally high.
