The union's representative said that the claim of the local union was not on all fours with those or the Northern unions. . The President said' that when the Court heard the Auckland dispute it was ■understood that any award which might be made should govern the rest of the Dominion, Court thought it oughi to be accepted without further discussion. ~, His Honor intimated that if they did not want a similar award to that in Wellington and Auckland the matter had •better stand ove r till next year. They had their choice. It was an improper attempt to go back on what was really an'understanding between the employers and the workers. The Dunedin employers were represented at Auckland.
