THE MOROCCAN CRISIS
A GOVERNOR'S STATEMENT. PERPARATION FOR GRAVE CONTINGENCIES. (Press Association.- —Copyright.) SYDNEY, April 9. When distributing the prizes won at the rifle meeting on Monday night, the Governor made an important statement, showing the view Imperial officials held during the x.iorocca-n crisis. He said that last September he had communicated with provincial officers iirging preparation for grave contingencies. His audience would know that he referred to the situation created in Morocco arid the resultant probability of war. His Excellency exhorted the riflemen to take their duties seriously.
