A WILD STAMPEDE,
SEVEN PERSONS KILLED
(Press Association. —Copyrjuht.) PARIS, April 9. During a concert in connection with the Women's Patriotic League at Houdian. a lamp fell. The blazing oil was readily extinguished, but there was a wild stampede of women and children, and the narrow stairway was choked. Half-an-hour elapsed before it was cleared. Seven persons were trampled to death, and 15 others were terribly injured. '
