Our Motueka correspondent write®:— Word wa.« received in Motueka yesterday of the sudden death of Mr Archibald' McLean, an old and highly respected resident, of Riwaka. From what can be gathered at present, it is believed that the cause of death was heart- failmre. The deceased was a very usefui] resident in the place in his dav, and wa-s of sterling, upright character. His family will, have the sympathy of a wide circle of friends.
