The Canterbury Jockey Club's meeting was continued to-day in sultry weather. The attendance, though large, was not up to Saturday's record, and totalisator investments showed a falling off. being £20,489, as against £23,01 X last year. The racing was again interesting, the victory of Danube in the Derby being very popular. The results were :

Also started: Tribulation. Danube made all the running and easily stalling off the challange by Birisdale in the straight, won by half a length. Time, 2.38.
