A fire broke out this morning in a 5roomed house in Broughton-street. The dwelling was outside the water service, and wa<s totally destroyed. The insurance, ini the Royal Exchange office, en the building xs £225 and on the furniture in the Victoria office for 75. The house was owned by Miss Irvine, Pukeran, and occupdied by Mr. Richard McMillan. Mr. fftcMillian had just time to save his family.
The many friends of the Rev. William Lee, formerly minister of St. -ohn's Methodist Church, will be glad to hear that he is. to preach there on Sunday, morning and evening. Mr. Lee will deliver a lecture also on Monday evening.
