Resolved to. inform the writers of the conditions in regard to permits. Mr H. Walker applied for permission to use the hose to lay the dust in front of his shop, Bridge-street. He stated that he was a heavy loser -by the dust entering his shop.—Permission refused out of- authorised_ hours . Mr H. Finney applied for periniissior to be allowed to use the hose betvreerr 6 and 7 pin..
