THE LADIES'REP.TEAM AND A BL ENHEIM VI SIT.

TO T^p EDITOB. Sir,—A? one interested in hockey, and in the success of tha Nelson ladies' !*p. team jbdut to visit Napier, may I f* 'ggeijt that a. mistake will be made if any of the team are permitted to go to..Blenheim first with the "coming visit of the Wakatus^to that place? Theive ar c sure to be the usual festivities and distractions, and it cannot be expected that the best can be. secured out of important players who have been spending, their energies .before the rep. matches bsgin in the North. As the game with Blenheim is to be merely a friendly one, while the trip to Napier means real business, I think our team should be held at their bent till the latter is disposed of. When on the way back there is nothing to prevent members of the team going to Blenheim on. anywhere else en route. I trust that this matter will be kept in view by the_ Association, that Is, if we hope to win anything. If we mean hockey business in Napier let us go after it in a businesslike manner. I am >etc. HOCKEY ENTHUSIAST. . .
