NELSON HOCKEY ASSOCIATION.

A meeting of the Nelson Hock'y Association was held at the Camera Club rooems last evening. All the clubs were r. presented. It was resolved that all matches set down for Saturday next be played. The, Golden Bay Ladies' Club were' granted 50 per cent.' of the net gate in connection with their recent visit to Nelson. It was resolved that the Nelson-Mai-taj junior match be played on the afternoon of the first Monday in August. It was decided to send a ladies' representative team to Napier to take part in 'tho New Zealand Ladies' Hockey Association's tournament, and thnt each player be allowed £2 towards <VYien?PK. (in ''.ddition to any *-\tn iwi»iyrd from the Hawkes Bay Vswiation. It was resolved that the Nrlson men's representative team leave on August 10th and play Marlborough on August 11 th. tho team paying its own expenses. Practices for the ladies' representative team (possibles and probables) will be held on Saturday afternoon and on Monday afternoon. The final selection of the team will be made' at the end of this week.
