CORRESPONDENCE.
HEDGES ON FOOTPATHS. To the Editor. Sir. — While rending the report >if the Stoke Road Board in your valuable paper this evening. I notice a letter by a rosiHent of C'ambria-stvset complaining of a Macrocarpa hedge growing in Stoke. Now. Mr Editor. I think that this resident should cut back his own hedge, which encroaches on the foot. path and allow ratepayers and others to walk along comfortably, instead of Chinamon fashion, before complaining of others in the more out of the way places. It would also be setting a good example for others to follow. I am etc., RATEPAYER.
