A public meeting held last night derided to recommend the Government to introduce universal training. DUNEEHN. Friday. The Nautical Court found the Maheno responsible for the oil launch collision with the Matariki near the Eattray-st. Wharf, and ordered the Maheno's people lo pay 21 guineas costs. The water at the Haddey petroleum bore was effectively shut off at a depth of 1775 feet, The well has since bein drilled to a greater depth. The six-inch casing has been lofferej do\yn to 180 C feet.
