THE METHODIST CONFERENCE.
YESTERDAY'S (PROCEEDINGa fDNHED Peess Association.) WELLINGTON, Monday. At the Methodist Conference an iuvitation from Trinity Church at Dunedin to hold the 1910 Conference there was accepted by the Conference. The date for the opening was fixed for February 24th. The Conference adopted the third draft of the ministers' stations today. The following are the particulars regarding the Nelson district: — Nelson:— Rev. J. J. Lewis; supernumerary, Rev. J. Crump. Richmond : Rev. 'S. H. D. Peryman and a home missionary. Blenheim : Revs. T. R. Richards and E. P. Blainires, and a home missionary. Hokitika: Rev. H. Ranston. Gveymouth : Rev. W. Veale and a home missionary. Motueka : Eev. G. Snaddeu. Reefton : Rev. C. Blair. Havelock : a home missionAt the Conference to-night a cablepram was received from the Rev. Dr Morley, of Victoria, stating the Rev. C. Tregeari's willingness to come to Wellington for special mission work as desired by the New Zealand Conference; also stating that an exchange would have to be provided. It is_ now for ministers in the Dominion willing to lf o to Victoria to at once communicate with the New Zealand President, Tho Conference will closo to-morrow.
