TRENTHAM, Saturday. To-day was entirely devoted to the Service .Matches, in" which keen interest was taken by the numerous competitors.

Colonel Collins made a cheering announcement. He said SOO competitors had been anticipated, bnt the actual number was 536; consequently it had been decided to give ±!100 additional prizes for a Conoslation Match,, open to all who had net won £1 or over at the meeting, and the 60 marksmen whoso aggregate scores are nearest to the 50 highest for the King's Prize would receive £1 extra each.
