CHBISTCHURCH, Friday. There is not such a large quantity of wheat offering as in, tho early part of last week, and growers are inclined to ask a little more. The only sales reported are 2500 bushels of Tuscan and 800 bushels of Hunters, ■at 3s 6d, at country stations, though other business has been clone at the same figure. Many of the samples offering are in doubtful condition, or otherwise buying would probably be more free. A fair quantity of oats is coming forward, and finding sale at quotations. Lines of 4400 bushels and 800 bushels of Cartons at Is 3d, and 2200 bushels of Duns at Is 2^ d , at country station.?, havp changed hands. Duns are plentiful, but white oats aiv reported to bo offered sparingly. The undermentioned are the prices paid to farmers at conntry stations, free of commission, except where otherwise stated .— Milling Wheat : 3s 6d to 3s 7Jd, chickwheat, 3s 2d to 3s 4d, at country stations. Oats : Is 2d to Is 3d for feed lines, Is 4d for milling, Is 7d to Is 9d for Algerians at country stations. , I Barley : Malting 2s lid to 3s 3d. Ryegrass (nominal) : Is 6d to Is 9d, at country stations. Cocksfoot : 5d to 5Jd at country stations. Flour : £10 10s a ton. Bran : £3 15s, local £3 lte, f.0.b., a ton. Pollard : £6 a ton. Oatmeal : £11 a ton. New Oatsheaf Chaff : £2 to £2 ss, at country stations. Onions : £3 to £3 Ss, at country stations. Dairy Produce: Cheese, factory 6d, dairy sid, loaf cheese 6Jd, butter, factory 12d, farmers' separator lOJd, dairy 9id, bacon, sides 7Jd, rolls Bjd, hams Bd, honey, extracted 4d a Ib, wax Is 2d a Ib, lard (packets) Bd, fresh eggs 14d a dozen.
