Messrs E. Buxton and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cable report from their London agents, Messrs Sanderson, Murray and Co., this morning : — "Sales have opened with animation, large attendance of buyers and competi. tion brisk. Merino advanced sto 10 per cent. Medium scoured shows great est advance. Crossbred advanced IC to 15 per cent. Poor selection of crossbred offering.
