ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS. - . The anniversary celebration of the '". Miss Wilson-, -the school secretary, in her reports-stated that much encouraging work " had been don© in the past ear under Mr Pettit's. superintendence, a position he had held' for? 19. eyars, assisted by 25 teachers. -:;TT,wp.:of the scholars had become teacners ; !during the year, whilst tha number bn -the 'School roll was 312, as against, 315 last'; year. Reference was also made to the active interest taken by the^Pre-' . ; .si-dent of tba School (the Rev. Stanley .'-:". A dialogue was- ako given by sbc : of the girls. Victor Webley also gave a • recitation, which was encored. Flossie Moore and Martin Strong also sang a , duet.
