A conference of the Steauuhip Owners' Federation and the Institute of Marine Engineers, the latter having asked for a reconsideration of the agreement fixing the hours and rates of pay, proved futile, and the engineers announced that probably tliey would appeal to the Federal Arbitrul.o.i Court.
